It's time to get into the Christmas spirit in our room, so this next week we will be decorating a tree.  If you have any left over ornaments you don't mind sharing with the class (to be returned) please send them with your child on Monday.  I have a tree and lights.

THIS WEEK AT A GLANCE:

HISTORY: We will continue to fill out our study sheets and review the unit one material.  The test will be on FRIDAY.  This is a very important test since it will cover all our material from the beginning of the year.

 ENGLISH:   Pages 96-100 in the English book.  Subject-nouns.

 BIBLE: Fish projects are due on Monday.  We are learning the Topical Bible Study Method and will be using it on 1 Peter 3-5.  Continue to encourage your child to study for the verse tests every other week.  Some are not making this a priority and tests are 40% of their grade.

 STUDY SKILLS:We will be finishing our listening portion of study skills.  They have learned a lot and need to put into practice what they now know.  Our next book will be on note-taking skills.

 CURRENT EVENTS:   Our weekly news anchor is Hannah.  We have started a new month so ANYONE can be a winner in the Current Events Challenge!  Good luck, class!  May the best note-taker win!
