Bible

To begin this month we will be working on the character trait of orderliness.  We will be studying Daniel’s example of orderliness, as well as learning why God wants us to be orderly.  No verse quiz Wednesday.

Math

3^rd - This week we will complete our unit on geometry.  We will learn about solid figures and review lines, shapes, and angles.

4^th - We will continue our study of graphs.  We will study pictographs and line graphs before starting with multiplication and division.

5^th - Mrs. DeBruin will begin teaching 5^th grade math next week!

Language Arts

We will be completing our study of adjectives this week.  We will study comparing with good and bad, and then review Wednesday and Thursday for a final test on Friday.

Spelling

This week we will be studying the words from Lesson 16.  Each day students will complete a workbook page.  On Monday the students’ assignment will be to use each of the spelling words correctly in a sentence.  Students may wor

Reading

We will continue reading a classic by E.B. White: The Trumpet of the Swan.  The main character is Louis, a swan who is born unable to make a sound!  This week we will finish the book.  We will work on analyzing the plot and characters.

American History

In History this week will continue to study early American History.  We be learning about the Great Awakening.  This great spiritual revival swept through the colonies between 1730 and 1760.
